 Today we had immersion assembly to start of term 3, and it was about a have a healthy life style. all of the team's assembly item was about fitness, healthy diet and other thing to have a healthy life style. Team 5 did a item on the Olympics and fitness. in this item some of us we're involved in it too. Some of us had to be the judges for our teachers performance. And I really enjoyed it

Creative writing *Not Finished*

It was 2015 and we had a chance to meet a world war veteran, his name Robert L. The world war veteran sat us down and told us a story. It was 1944 16th of december battle of the bulge. The battle of the bulge happened when the germans launched an attack on allied forces in the forested ardennes region in belgium, luxembourg, and france.

It was the day when I first went to New zealand and my family decided to take me out to a restaurant, the restaurant was Denny's. The reason it was my first time in auckland is because i spent in a boarding school for most of my childhood

I haven’t heard anything about it. The food in Denny's looked good. When I tasted the cookie and cream milkshake I was wowed and was very ecstatic.

I was doing my maths work and I needed a ruler, so I looked in the drawer where all the maths equipment was and there was nothing there. I asked the teacher if she had any but she said no. So I just sat down without any ruler.

It's the 2021 state of origin game 1 and everyone was hyped nsw had a stacked team and the outcome came as expected, nsw won, 50 points to 6. So the game went well.

Denny’s restaurant is plummeting. I heard the only good thing there is the cookie and cream milkshake and that's it.

I went to collect all the rulers in my classroom but I was missing only 1.

This is just a task that i did during class. i had to write sentences of 3 main photos and had to add in 3 key words into the sentences.

How to be a good friend

Hi my name is Valeli. I’ll be talking about how to be a good friend.

Info 1: Caring. Caring is one of the things needed in a good friendship. You gotta care for them when they are in need of someone or just check if they're okay. For example if your friend doesn’t look so well you go check on them to see if they're doing alright.

Info 2: Being a role model. Being a good role model to your friend is the best thing you can do. Role models are people who show others the right way and the right thing, they never look down on others and they always care for you. So if your friend is doing the wrong thing and messing around and that you gotta step up and show your right thing to do so they don't get in trouble by anyone.

Info 3: Having fun. Having fun is one of the things that happens in a good friendship. Having fun with your bestfriend or just friend is great. If they're down you can go and cheer them up. For example if your friend just had a break-up and he's crying and all that you take him somewhere to go and hangout with them to cheer them up and get that thought out of their mind.

Conclusion: These are 3 ways of how to be a good friend. Having fun, Being a good role model and caring for them. I hope you take this Information into consideration.

Narrative writing

Today i have finished are narrative writing. I was given an introduction to a story. Then i had to write the other half of the story.

It was a man who had a black jacket and I couldn't see his face. I thought he was wearing a mask until when he kept getting closer he didn't have a face. I was so frightened that I couldn't open my mouth. It kept getting closer and closer. I tried running but I couldn't move. I tried screaming my mouth won’t open. I closed my eyes and I can feel this tingly feeling on my body. I thought it was the man touching me gently. I opened my eyes and no one was there ‘it was just the wind’ i thought. I looked behind me and I see a black figure right behind me. 

I opened my mouth for a scream. I opened my eyes and I was laying on my bed. This “dream” of mine frightened me. The most random noise will scare me. From silent to loud. I went to the living room with my dog and watched some anime. ‘Haikyuu will cheer me up’ I said. I heard some creepy crackly noises coming from the kitchen. The night was coming. So I went to my room. I still felt the tingly feeling on my skin. I woke up at the middle of the night at 2:58 am. I heard a weird noise coming from outside. I put on my jacket and went to go check. Nothing was there so I walked back to my door. Then I see a black figure standing at my door. I kept thinking I was in a dream. So I slapped myself in the face and I actually felt the slap. Then i thought ‘this ain’t a dream this is real’. With my eyes wide open I started running into the forest. I found a dead end at this ridge. Then I see the black figure coming closer and closer. ‘I can't believe i'm living my dream,’ I said. I closed my eyes like in the dream and felt this tingly feeling again. I was too scared to open my eyes but I opened it. No one was there. I was too scared to look behind me cause you know how that ended. So I just ran for it back to my house. Once I made it to my house no one was blocking the door. So I walked inside and ran to my room. I locked the doors and drank some coffee. ‘This is one hell of a day’ I said. Then I went to sleep. The end.

Today we went to the hall for assembly. The teachers were gonna show a video or just act it out to show what we will be doing for term 3. The first team to go up was team 1. There one was about what different things other schools do compared to our school. Like what they eat and what we eat and see the differences. Then the second team went up which was team 2. There one was about exploring so they did a Dora based video. Then it was team 3. there one was based on the amazing race. They made a video of them exploring the world. Then it was team 4's turn. There one was researching the food that they were eating and seeing where it came from. Then it was team 5's turn. Our one is based on myths and legends. The team 5 teachers did a performance of sina and the eel. The story was great. There were some sad bits and some good ones. The ending was heartwarming for me. Then the assembly ended then we all went back to our class room.

why people like fortnite

The reason why people like fortnite is because what happens in it like all the seasons it has. The season makes people enjoy fortnite because it lets them have more cool things to do in fortnite and they can battle in new maps. Also Fortnite never stops updating and thats what make people play fortnite 

Second reason why people like Fortnite is all the emote it has. That makes people do a victory dance when they won a battle royale or just dance whenever they want to. Some emotes can finish people off when they are knocked down.

Third thing people like Fortnite is how you can build. You can change the walls and make a little square in the middle where you can shoot out of. Also You can change everything, stares, roofs and many more that makes people build whatever they want to build and have you notice the word fort was from save the world mode. It has the word fort because in save the world you have to construct forts and other structures to defend against monsters.

Fourth, thing about why people like Fortnite are all the crazy weapons it has. Like tactical shotgun, pump shotgun and the legendary scar. In previous seasons new guns get released by the maker or epic games. Dezz guns make people excited. And it makes people not feel bored about Fortnite.

5th thing is all the skins. There are lots of skins for you but the cool thing is there is a third person mode in Fortnite. That makes you see your character in action and do all the emotes and that makes it fun. Also even if you're in third person mode you can still aim your weapon and with a sniper rifle. And also you can see yourself build and move around and that is a cool thing about Fortnite.

4 ideas of how to be a good host.

Being an excellent host is important in my family even though they tell you to sit somewhere else for people that are coming. Today I will be showing you how to be a good host when surprise visitors come to your house.

Okay first thing. You have to welcome your guests so they know that you do what them in your home. Okay when you welcome them in your house you have to have something prepared for your guest like food I will explain it in the next information.

Second thing to how to be a good host is by having some food prepared for your guest. If you offer them food and they say no thanks you still have to offer it to them because you’re being generous to them and that's how you be an excellent host.

Being a wonderful host is like if you break the window of your house and your parents get angry at you. Then some unexpected family members come, you gotta act like nothing happens. You gotta act like you weren’t angry and anything like that because your family members don't know what to see angry. Because they want you to be glad that they came to visit you. And that my third element of how to be a wonderful host for your family members.

Okay fourth thing before you invite your family members into your house it has to be clean. If you’re like my family we always chuck the toy clothes in the closets because it’s an easier way to do it. And there's no space to put it in. so always clean up your house because you don't know what your family members to be sitting next to rubbish and toys because it will be rude if you do that. So always keep your house clean for your guests and family members.

Letter to Mrs tele'a

Hi my name is Valeli. I'm 11 years old and My culture is Samoa. My birthday is in October and I was the second child in my family to be born in New zealand and my sister was the first one to be born here. I'm the second child to be born in my family because my sister was born 1 year before me. My parents were both born in samoa. My parents name our lui and lois.



I love when my uncle's family comes from Wellington and to visit. I love hanging out with my uncle from samoa. I think I want to play rugby but I don’t know. I like watching Call of duty modern warfare on youtube and I love fast and furious because it is so cool.

Thing that I like about school is you can catch up with your friend and you also can meet new friends too. The thing that I don’t like is when we have to do too much work. My goal in 2020 is to succeed throughout the year and also get a trophy on prize giving day. And also my goals is to also play more sports like softball and rugby.

A good teacher would help when I need her. A good teacher will also listen to her students. Mrs Tele'a could support me on writing because sometimes I get my words wrong every time because I like writing but sometimes I over think it and forget that my spelling is wrong.

Voice Over Writing

When about animals were born people were in stress. They thought that the animals was gonna come to eat them. When two Warriors were walking a tiger rushed to them. The man rushed to the animal. but the man died. His friend ran to get the others. When the chief was walking with his warriors to the place where the man died. Four tigers charged to them. and three of them were protecting the chief. The rest of them rushed to the tigers to kill them. But then the the tigers ran away but the others went to chase them. but then one came back one killed one of the guards. The other one stabbed the tiger in the stomach. The chief walked back to his home. When he got there everything was burning into ash. He saw that everyone was dead so he run but. then he stopped the smoke was not good for him. Then he took his last breath then fell on the floor. 2000,000 years later the crown ended up in the Museum in Samoa so it can be remembered. the end.

Narrative writing

One day five teens got set to Samoa. There name was John Siua and Henry and Siaku and Austin. They were living in this old house until something happen. the house rose into the sky. It stop when they jump to this place there was a tunnel. When they look back the house exploded. Creatures started coming out of this black hole. They run back to the city and went to the police station. They told the police to come with them and when the made it they saw the creatures coming so they called the nz army. When they arrived a big monster came out of the black hole. It was so big it was the size of the hole city. So John Austin and Henry wanted to help so they help the army. Austin was so happy because he gets to go inside the tank. Austin larg a missile at the monster eye. The eye started bleeding but the monster was still angry. It was so angry it destroyed half of the city. The army started larging millions of missile at the monster. The other army battle the creatures until they all died. When they larg the last missile the monster fell down and the creatures got sucked back to the black hole and the dead monster got sucked to. When they were all gone mine armies was dead John Henry Austin Siaku and Siua went to Barrie the sojure that died in the war.

te wa toi assembly

Today are topic is te wa toi. Today for term 4 are topic is about art. For this topic I feeled happy starting a new topic and a new term. For this inquiry topic it will teach me how to draw better. For this term I find challenging doing is reading and maths. For this term i’m am gonna work hard to overcome my challenges. Today I what to achieve maths. My learning goals is not talking when the teachers are talking. I think this inquiry topic will help.

Design a new sport.

1 roll of Tape. 2 racket. 40 cups. ball.



Inside a big Arena.

2 teams 15 people in each team.

You have to get you’re racket and your ball then you have to hit the ball to the tape.



stack cups and then your ball has to stick to the line of tape and each team has to get 10 balls on the tape before 60 seconds.

When the ball moves somewhere else and you grab it from that spot you can not move. and you can not hit the tape without knowing the cups down if you don’t 3 points lost.

You have to hit your ball on to the tape. To order to win you have to get 10 balls on to the tape before 60 seconds.

Today for writing my task was to make a sport with only using four things. I used tape cups a ball and a tennis racket for my new sport. I learn how to make a game only using four things. I enjoy making my own sports game for my task it was else to do. It was hard doing the hoop hope showdown I keep on going to the end of the line and keep on skipping spots. And I keep on losing at rock paper scissor. And my game name is cyber shoots.
